In Backdrifts, a naive and clumsy young man of the early 20th century is hired to work in a boarding house, which appears to be a brothel. For this soundtrack I began with a piano opening, in a silent movies style, with a theme for every character, and used more and more instruments (percussions, guitar, keyboards, strings) as the story goes, to finish in a more modern orchestration. This short movie won the best music price at the 3rd NOIDA INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL.
